ART TAICHUNG 2026
M+M Gallery is delighted to present a curated selection of works by five internationally renowned artists at ART TAICHUNG 2026, opening a contemporary dialogue that spans generations and geographies.
Yayoi Kusama’s polka dots from the 1980s, with their signature repetitive circles and sense of infinite expanse, reflect on themes of eternity and disappearance. Peter Dreher’s iconic series Day by Day, Good Day turns thousands of renderings of the same water glass into a quiet meditation on time and existence. Christine Ay Tjoe’s abstract paintings use bold color and rhythmic composition to capture the fragile tensions of human psychology and emotional unease. Damian Elwes’s Artist’s Studio series weaves the light, objects, and unfinished works found in the studios of master artists into stories of inspiration and labor. Alessandro Twombly’s recent paintings take cues from natural forms, translating cycles of growth and decay into abstract shapes on canvas.
By bringing together works from different cultural backgrounds and creative paths, the presentation builds an aesthetic bridge between East and West. We warmly invite you to experience more of these remarkable works in person.
